Amanda Soukup from Katy, Texas was present with her Mother-in-law Rotarian Linda Soukup; Deb Houseman was introduced by Rotarian Becky Brunsing; Jody Kotab was invited by Rotarian Linda Soukup; Rotarian Patty Frei introduced her Great Niece Sophie Beeson, and Michaela Jones was present courtesy of Alison Woods. All those present gave thanks for the meal and fellowship by reciting the Rotary Prayer.

Read moreWith the start of the new school the library is looking to develop programs which encourage reading at all ages. On the state level the South Dakota Library Association has a committee that nominates books for children in the following age ranges ; grades PreK-1 for Prairie Bud, grades 2-3 for Prairie Bloom, and grades 4-5 for Prairie Pasque. The library has invested in these 12 books for each age range and is currently developing an incentive program for those students who participate.
