This database can be logged in to from home as well as the library. If you are a history buff this is a database for you! “Overland Journeys: Travels in the West, 1800-1880” is described as thousands of stories of early settlers. The plan moving forward is to release a fall and spring yearbook shortly after each semester ends. This one's a bit late as we are figuring things out as we go. The program supports adults aged 55+ and their caregivers in rural areas, helping them access essential resources and services that enable them to age comfortably at home. LSS created OARN with support from Lutheran Services in America in 2022 and to date, has successfully assisted over 120 older adults in Douglas and Charles Mix counties.
