Those of the Announcer, Avon Clarion, Lake Andes Wave and Wagner Post subscribers and advertisers who have called the office or stopped by have been greeted by a new face. Gracie Wold of Armour has recently joined the staff at Pechous Publications as a Graphic Designer. Gracie was born and raised in Armour and graduated from Armour High School in 2018. She is the daughter of Ann and Larry Wold.

First Presbyterian Church would like to say a special thank-you to the following organizations and businesses for supporting the Champions Forever Program: Avon Chamber of Commerce, Women’s Auxiliary, Lions Club, Avon Ministerial, First Baptist Church, Walters Construction, Power Source Electric, and various private individuals. We had two guests, Bill Peters who is running for State Commander and is the current SD State Legion Membership chairman. Also in attendance was Steve Muller, District 8 Commander. CommanderClayton Rados thanked the Auxiliary for preparing the delicious meal and cake celebrating the 106th birthday of the American Legion.

Jim “The Barber” Dresden has been a barber for well over 40 years, but has been a part of the Wagner Community barbering for the past 40 years. What he began in 1985 atTheWagnerBarberShopon Wagner’s Main Street came to end with the final haircut of Eugene Soukup at the barbershop on February 28th.
