Read moreWagner Bon Homme gymnasts just missed making it to state as a team at the Region meet held in Hot Springs, SD Friday, February 2nd It came down to 3 tenths of a point tonight. These girls beat the final qualifying team in ALL EVENTS except bars. This event has continued to be the thorn in our side all season. Tonight, even with the gains we have made all season, this event was what separated us from the team day state competition, unfortunately. A huge shout out to Raelynn Kuhlman who literally stood as an extra security for some of her teammates tonight. It was heart-warming to see how much trust her teammates have in her. Trust and leadership are an important part of being a senior. These seniors all shared the part of leading this team in their own unique way. Thank you, girls! You will be missed. Although we did not make it as a team, both Alexys Rueb and Jasmine Ruelas-Gilbert earned their chances to compete all four events! Thank you again to all the gymnasts’ parents and families for the support you have given to your daughter, the team, and the coaches for all these years. We are all lucky to have such a great support system. Jasmine and Alexys… GO FINISH YOUR SEASON BY SHOWING WHAT YOUR CAPABLE OF ACCOMPLISHING!!!! We are all cheering you on!!
