On Saturday, October 4, the Avon Lady Pirates competed in the GPC Volleyball Tournament hosted by Andes Central, finishing the day with a 3-2 record. Avon opened with two strong wins over ACDC and Scotland, followed by back-to-back matches against TDA and Corsica/Stickney, and closed the tournament with a hard-fought loss to Gayville-Volin.

Libby Kotab scrapped for 29 digs in the back court along with Holzbauer grabbing 24, Medricky added 14 and Nedved had 11. Fuchs and Medricky put up 2 solo blocks apiece while Holzbauer, Link, and M. Bruguier each had one of their own.
