Throughout the course of this presidential election season, the Avon 7th graders held their own election. The class was divided into two groups, boys and girls, to debate against each other’s opinions. Miss Piggy (girls) and Yoshi (boys) were the representatives for the parties. Instead of Republicans, Democrats, and Independents, the seventh graders split into Girl Power and Boy Power to avoid any controversy stemming from the current presidential election in our country.
