On Wednesday, June 19, Wagner’s Post 7319 VFW 14U and 16U teeners hosted Parkston. The 14U team struggled to hit and field the ball in this contest as they would fall to the visitors by a score of 12-0. Salem had one more hit than Wagner, but they would end up with 14 more runs as they would win by a score of 14-0 as they used 11 walks and 10 errors to come away with the victory. Ethan Gabel was the pitcher of record. He gave a valiant effort but would give up six runs, only one being earned, on zero hits and four walks. Avery Medicine Bear, Colton Zephier, and Landon Ronfeldt all pitched in this contest.
