James Reinbold, 73, of Wagner died Sunday, August 11, 2019 at the Good Samaritan Society in Wagner. Services were Thursday, August 15 at the Wagner Community Church in Wagner. Burial was in the Riverview Cemetery in Pickstown, with Military Honors. Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

James Edward Reinbold, Jr. was born in Mobridge on May 9, 1946. He was the youngest of nine children to James and Margaret Reinbold. The family resided on the homestead near Trail City. When Jim was in the fourth grade his family moved to Rapid City.

Jim graduated from Rapid City Central in 1966 and then entered the Army where he served from 1966 to 1969. Upon his return he enrolled in the Diesel Technology program at Springfield College, graduating with an Associates Degree in Diesel Technology in 1971.

On August 21, 1971 Jim married Nancy Anderson. To this union three wonderful children were born: Stacy (Corey) Shelsta of Brookings; Dustin (Ashley) Reinbold of Lincoln, NE and Janae (Andrew) McCoy of Menno. These three children and eight grandchildren were the greatest blessings in Jim’s life.

Jim worked at Kocer Implement for 14 years, the Corp of Engineers for 23 years and part-time at Mark’s Machinery for 11 years.

Jim will be remembered for his love for his family, sports, restoring a ’76 Chevy Malibu Classic with his son Dustin and going to car shows. He earned a brown belt in Karate and enjoyed attending Karate tournaments with his daughter Stacy. He also loved fishing with his kids and grandkids.

Jim is survived by his wife Nancy of 48 years, three children, eight grandchildren, mother-in-law Marjorie Anderson of Wagner, two sisters: Delores Maxon of Bismark, ND and Dorothy Thomas of Spearfish, many nieces and nephews.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law Jack Anderson and six siblings: Kay Naescher, Berdine Thomas, Margie Kelly, Wilfred Reinbold, Francis Reinbold and John Reinbold.
