Jaymie Jo Phillips, 50, of Rapid City died Sunday, January 18, 2026 at Monument Health in Rapid City. Funeral services were Saturday, January 24 at the American Legion Hall in Wagner. Burial was in the Greenwood Presbyterian Cemetery. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

Jaymie Jo Phillips was born on August 29, 1975 in Winnebago, NE to Loretta F, Hare and Duane A. Phillips.

Jaymie grew up in Wagner. She was always happy to be around her grandpa Doyle and grandma Ramona; visiting her Dad and family especially her grandma from

Lincoln, NE.

She attended Wagner Community School in Wagner, graduating in 1993. She loved to listen to music, go cruising, being with her family and friends, and most of all cooking.

She worked at various jobs, with her final employment being a Manager at Red Lobster in Rapid City.

Jaymie was a proud mother to her son Jacob J. Abdo and her daughter Alayna Vigil. She shared her life with companion Franki Vigil in Rapid City and her baby (dog) Abby.

Jaymie is survived by her Grandmother Phyllis Ramona Sully, mother Loretta F. Hare of Wagner; son Jacob J. Abdo of Sioux Falls; daughter Alayna Vigil of Mitchell; her brothers: Scott Felicia (Tammy), Jay Calabaza, and Zachary Hare; and Nephew Korey Patterson all from Wagner.

Jaymie was preceded in death by her father Duane A. Phillips and brother Duane Phillips, Jr.

Jaymie will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was a very unique and caring individual who touched the lives of all who knew her.
