WILLIAM LEROY

William “Billy” LeRoy, 48, of Wagner died Saturday, January 24, 2026 at the Douglas County Memorial Hospital in Armour. Funeral services were Saturday, January 31 at the gym. Following his services, Billy was cremated. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

William “Bill” was born on April 2, 1977 to Jean Marie LeRoy and Richard “Rick” McBride in Wagner. Bill was raised by his grandparents David and Rose LeRoy. He attended Wagner school and went on to Job Corp in Utah. Bill came back to his community and lived with friends and family. He spent time listening to music, playing dice, dominos, and enjoying the weather.

His hobbies were listening to his music, drawing, writing poems, and being on his tablet. His greatest passion was his daughters. Bill loved to spend time with them. He would speak of the trips he would take to visit his eldest daughter Patricia Rose in Colorado.

He was not a man of many words but when in the company of his daughters, his smile would say so much. He enjoyed his morning coffee and conversations with baby LaJaunda. Bill was also the primary caregiver for his grandfather Dave.

He enjoyed painting with Aricelli Rose and spending time at the park with his daughters. He will be remembered for being able to put a smile on your face. Forever joking and laughing. And for being a dutiful grandson, friend, and loving father.

He is survived by his children: Patrica Rose LeRoy of Colorado, Octavia Hull of Wisconsin, Aricelli Rose Orozco, Ofelia Julianna Hernandez, Donalene “Baby Deda” Orozco of Wagner; and his sisters Gisele LeRoy, Eevee Mendez, and Dayton LeRoy.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jean Marie LeRoy and Richard “Rick: McBride; brother Dakota LeRoy; and grandparents David and Rose LeRoy.
