AVON SCHOOL DISTRICT NEW STAFF SPOTLIGHT - DREW HENTO

Drew Hento, Avon School District graduate and alumni, has returned to his alma materthisfalltoteachfourth grade for the Avon School District. Drew is a 2006 graduate of Avon High School who then attended Dakota State University to obtain his teaching degree. Drew was very excited to hear that Avon had an opening and was hoping to get to teach at a smaller school district. He isverygratefulthattheAvon School District welcomed himback.ThisisDrew’sfirst year teaching; he completed his student teaching at the Harrisburg School District, where he student taught fourth grade as well. Drew had been working at an insurance office in Tea prior to taking the position in the Avon school.
