Team Buche Cares hosted a community giveaway on Tuesday, January 20, at the G.F. Buche Co. Headquarters in Wagner. The event provided neighbors with free-range blue eggs, beef hot dogs, and potatoes. Special thanks to Dakota Layers and Jorgensen Land & Cattle for their generous support in helping nourish our community. The Wagner boys basketball team earned its eighth win of the season Tuesday night with a hard-fought 68-60 victory over Miller.

The Lady Raiders hosted the Miller Rustlers last Tuesday night in girls basketball action. It was 2008 the last time these two teams squared off against each other. Miller entered the contest with a 9-2 record while the Raiders were coming off two huge wins over # 2 ranked Parkston in class B and then previously undefeated # Hamlin in Class A.
