The Andes Central FFA students traveled to Lennox this past week for their last Career Development Event (CDE) competition before the state competition. Those that qualified for the state competition are Emery Bultje in Floriculture, Madeline Derry in Floriculture, Marin Bultje in Horse Judging, Callie Bergin in Horse Judging, Riata Bultje in Horse Judging and Abigail Svatos in Natural Resources. Emery Bultje and Madeline Derry advanced to the state CDE FFA competition to be held April 18th - 20th.

Read moreThe Andes Central/Dakota Christian Thunder started their golf season April 5th at the Class B Classic that was held at the Mitchell Lakeview Golf Course. This season the golfers are coached by head coach, Darryl Deurmier who is assisted by Traci Niewenhuis. This is Darryl’s first year as the head coach of the golf team. There are both a boys and girls golf team.

Aced Concrete and Landscaping is a construction business that offers decorative concrete, garage floors and landscaping.
