The Jr Leaders will be hosting Give It a Try 4-H Day at the 4-H Center in Tyndall (1910 Birch St.) on Saturday, May 6th from 10-11:30 am. They are offering a workshop for youth ages 5-13 to learn more about the different project areas involved with 4-H program. Come and learn about showing poultry, rabbits, cats, beef and horses along with all the options for static projects.

Leading hitters were Macy Voigt with 2 hits and 6 RBI’s including a homerun, Rilyn Thury with 3 hits and 7 RBIs. Kenna Kocmich scored 6 runs for the pirates. The girls drop to 1-4 on the season. The Pirates look to right the ship in a tournament on Saturday in Gayville.
