Funeral services for Stanley “Boy” Fobb, 61 were held Saturday, November 22 at the Greenwood Community Center. Burial was in the Greenwood Presbyterian Cemetery. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements. Stanley died Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at the Community Memorial Hospital in Wagner.

Gladys T. (Holec) Metteer passed away peacefully on November 9, at Providence Villa in Sebeka, Minnesota. She was 97 years old. Gladys was born to Vaclav and Mary (Ober) Holec on September 28, 1928, near Dante. She married Harold Metteer on October 9, 1947, in Luverne, MN. Together they farmed in Charles Mix County, until 1967. At that time, they moved to Nimrod, MN, and continued to farm there.

President Jamie Soukup gave a warm welcome to the Wagner Rotarians and three visiting Seniors from the Wagner Community School. The Rotary Grace was spoken, and Assistant Song leader Jeff Doom guided the membership in singing “Smile.”

Commander Rados thanked the cooks for the delicious Thanksgiving meal as well as the Auxiliary for the cake celebrating the 106th anniversary of the American Legion. Happy birthday was sung by all for Greg Geiman who was celebrating his birthday today. Tony Krcil was the winner for the queen drawing but drew the 2 of diamonds instead. Chaplain Don Kotab gave the invocation which was followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. The Preamble to the Constitution of the American Legion was recited by all members. Commander Rados then called the meeting to order.
