Funeral Mass for Marie Soukup, 90, of Wagner will be held Wednesday, May 25 at 10:30 a.m., at St John’s Catholic Church in Wagner. Burial is in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, rural Wagner. Visitation will be at the church on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m., followed by Rosary/ Wake services at 7 p.m. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner is in charge of arrangements.

Wagner Community students recently submitted entries in the American Legion Auxiliary Wagner Greer Unit #11 Poppy Coloring Contest. Coloring pages were judged on how well the student followed directions, neatness, and overall eye appeal. The first and second place winners received a cash prize. Josh Scott and Chass Powers recently opened Main Street Greenhouse in Wagner, offering flowering varieties and vegetables. Mensch Greenhouse, Inc., a family owned wholesale greenhouse operation in Avon is the greenhouse supplier.
