The 4-H shooting kids will be heading to Pierre/Ft. Pierre, April 25-27, to compete at the annual 4-H Spring State Shooting Competition. Participants qualify at a beginner, junior, or senior level, amongst their practiced disciplines. The Charles Mix County 4-H kids will showcase their skill across every discipline the competition has to offer, including; Air Pistol, Air Rifle, Archery, BB gun, CMP, 22 Pistol and 22 Rifle. Coaches are Shawn Smejkal, Bradley Dangel, Duane Pedersen, and Mike Dangel. Good luck and aim sharp!

The Wagner American Legion Greer Post #11 is proud to announce their 2025 Unit Legionnaire of the Year, Danny Rezac. Not only was Danny chosen at the unit level, but in the district competition, he was named District Legionnaire of the Year. He will now compete at the state level at the State of South Dakota American Legion’s annual convention in June.
