I supported HB 1095 an act to establish provisions for the operation of automated motor vehicles. Currently, there are norestrictionsinplaceforautonomous vehicles in South Dakota and whether you or I support them or not they need regulation. HB 1095 sets a foundation for the operation of autonomous vehicles.

BON HOMME 4-H JR LEADERS TRAVEL TO PIERRE

Nine Bon Homme County 4-H Jr. Leaders went to Pierre January 17th for a day of learningandcivicengagement. They were able to attend part of a House Judiciary Committee meeting and a town hall meeting with District 19 Representative DrewPetersonand House Minority Leader Oren Lesmeister. They also participated in a scavenger hunt around the capitol, attended a Democratic Caucus meeting, and then watched the House work through some of the day's business before heading for home. There was also time for some SDSU ice cream and a photo opportunity with the senators and representatives.
