ANDES CENTRAL SENIOR SPOTLIGHT

This week’s featured Andes Central Senior is Riata Bultje. Riata is the daughterofBriceandDarci Bultje. She has two younger sisters at Andes Central, Emery and Marin. During her high school years, Riata has been involved in volleyball, track, FFA, FCCLA, band, choir and National Honor Society. Riata has been very active in the community and volunteered her time working with Meals of Hope, Feeding SD and cleaning up trash on the wildlife refuge. Turkey gravy with mashed potatoes is Riata’s favorite school lunch. Riata’s favorite class is Botany with Mr. DeNeui. Botany was never boring and they learned a lot of very interesting and useful information about plants.

For West River basketball players and fans, the Jones County Invitational in Murdo is the place to be this time of year. You can count on fans coming from all over to support their local team competing for the tournament title. In mid-January, there’s nowhere I’d rather bethanbackinthebleachersin my hometown cheering on the Jones County Coyotes.
