3RD ANNUAL 605 UNITY JAM

The 3rd Annual 605 Unity JAM was held Sunday, June 11th offering several food and craft vendors, live music, dancing, a fishing derby, a Youth Pow-Wow and fun games. Many community members came to enjoy the entertainment in the beautiful weather. More photos on page 9. Photos by Barb Pechous

LAVENDER LANE UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP

Mackenzie Havranek was born and raised in Wagner, graduating from Wagner Community School in 2020. She is currently attending DWU to receive her degree in business. 'It has always been my dream to own a boutique. When Kara presented me with the opportunity to purchase her boutique I was thrilled. I already have many expectations for Lavender Lane Design + Boutique,' she commented. Boutique hours are Monday through Friday 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. and 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Saturdays. A grand re-opening is scheduled for July 1st. We hope to see you there!

Peggy, 68, died Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at the Huron Regional Medical Center in Huron. Graveside service will be held Friday, June 16 at 10 a.m. at the ZCBJ Cemetery in Wagner. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner is in charge of the arrangements.

Rotary News

June 7th was the hottest day the Rotary Club has met for a meeting so far this year. Rain is desperately needed! President Rachel Woods welcomed the Rotarians for the start of the meeting and read a prayer of thankfulness for the food and company and asked if we could be blessed with some rain; to which all answered amen.
