A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 31 at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Lake Andes. Internment for Amy will be in St. Mark’s Catholic Cemetery, Lake Andes. Internment for Dennis will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Ipswich. Wake services will be 7 p.m., Tuesday, May 30th at the St. Mark’s. The funeral will be live streamed at stpaulstmark.com. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner is in charge of arrangements. They passed away at their home in Pickstown on May 15, 2023.

Gather your friends and family for a “Retro” 2023 Fish Days celebration June 2, 3 & 4! Fish Days provides three days of fun for everyone! One of our biggest events is the Mr. Carp & Ms. Bullhead contest and ready to compete for the 2023 titles are the Mr. Carp & Ms. Bullhead Candidates. In order for them to achieve this honor, they need your help! Vote for your favorite candidate by tossing some money in their bucket. They will be seen at various events during Fish Days and may have buckets at local businesses. The candidates who raise the most money will be crowned Mr. Carp & Ms. Bullhead Saturday night during the street dance! Your contribution helps pay for the Fish Days events we all love to attend, so please participate in the tradition!
