MISSOULA CHILDREN'S THEATRE'S HANSEL AND GRETEL TO PERFORM AT MARTY INDIAN SCHOOL

The performance of the Missoula Children's Theatre's Hansel and Gretel will be held Friday, November 4, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. at Mary Indian School in the new gym. The cast of 50 to 60 will be picked from students in kindergarten through 12th grade. The public is invited to attend the performance at no charge.

Library News

The new front door to the library project was added on Friday, the 28th, and so the complete renovation is complete. The library building looks very nice. Thank you to the City of Lake Andes for preserving the building with the help of a grant from the South Dakota Historical Society Grant. The work that has been done will ensure that the building will be a part of Lake Andes into the future.

Andes Central/Dakota Christian went neck and neck with Gregory Monday, October 24th in five close sets. Lady Thunder fell short to the Lady Gorillas, the set scores were as follows: Mahpiya Irving served 3 ace serves picked up 16 digs, 21 set assists and 2 blocks; Josie Brouwer added an ace serve, 20 digs, 14 set assists and 12 kills; Syrianna Never Miss A Shot served 2 ace serves and had 8 digs and 1 kill; Lori DeCora had 2 ace serves, 12 digs and 1 kill; Claire Johnson had 21 digs and 4 kills; Abigail Svatos had 7 digs, 1 block and 9 kills; Halle Olson slammed down 3 kills and put up 3 blocks; Hannah Tronvold scooped up 6 digs; Gabby Olson added 2 kills; Madilyn Janis had 1 dig, 2 blocks and 2 kills.

AWANA CLUB TRICK OR TREATS FOR FOOD

On Wednesday, October 26, children from the Awana Club at FirstBaptistChurchwentaroundtowndressedinfoodcostumes and collected things to be donated to the Bon Homme County Food Pantry in Tyndall. A substantial amount of items was donated. The students and staff from Awana appreciate you all for your generosity, and we appreciate those who participated in the recent Trick or Treat so Others Can Eat event.
