The South Dakota Department of Veterans Affairs will be hosting a “Coffee and Conversation” event in Charles Mix County on September 21, 2022 at the American Legion Post in Wagner, SD from 10:00 until noon. It was a very hot weather day on Tuesday, September 6 when the Andes Central/Dakota Christian Thunder cross country runners competed in the Scotland Invitational Meet. Anna DeHaan and Lexi Schoenfelder continued to be top runners and earned medals placing 11th and 12th. Their times were 23:27 and 23:49. Top finisher in the Meet was Allison Haugh from Chamberlain (21:04) after her first place teammate Kinsey Evans collapsed in the high heat.
