Lake Andes Fish Days hosted its 15th Annual Walleye Tournament on May 21st with a boat and shore fishing category. A total of 21 teams took to the water as the tournament started bright and early at 7 a.m. In the boat category, Randy Winckler and Denise Weber reeled in 1st place with 16.60 pounds, father/son duo Kelly and Adam Tschumper weighed in 14.30 to catch 2nd place, tied for 3rd place was father/son team Jeff & Brody Simonsen and brothers Darrell and David Karas, both teams weighing in at 13.90 pounds. As for the 7th Annual Shore fishing category, brothers Colt & Conner Florey reeled in 1st place with 19.15 pounds, Rick and Megan Bergin weighed in at 16.13 to take 2nd place, Kevin Tschumper and Joe Hart took 3rd place with 14.12 pounds and Melvin Tschumper and Jackie Miller reeled in 4th place with 13.90. We appreciate all of the teams who participated in our 2022 Fish Days Walleye Boat & Shore Tournament!
