I would like to inform our county veterans of two new issues I have been working on. The first is the United Health Care Patriot Plan. The Medicare Advantage Patriot Plan Open Enrollment began on October 15, 2025 and will be open until December 8, 2025. This years Preferred Provider Organiza-tion (PPO) plan through United Health Care is sponsored by AARP.

The open enrollment period for signing up for Medicare Part D (prescription drugs) and enroll-ment for supplemental plans to Medicare opened on October 15 and closes on Dec. 7th, 2025. The Wagner Rotary Club met on Wednesday with another four students from the Wagner Community School present. A warm welcome was given to the four students followed by everyone reciting the Rotary Prayer for our lunch provided by Valley Pump. The four students present for the day were Slaten Podzimek whose parent is Jenni Soukup. Slaten plans to attend Mitchell Vo Tech as well as Brayden Kreber whose parents are Mike and Amy Blaha. Shea Kjeldgaard’s parents are Ty and Kendra Kjeldaard and he is also planning to attend Mitchell Vo Tech. Gannon Knebel’s parents are Jason and Stacey Knebel, and he is planning to attend SDSU.
