On paper you could say we are the better team but it all boils down to execution. Defensively we did a decent job on them only allowing 44 points. We let them shoot some open perimeter shots that they made. Offensively we didn’t play good basketball. We missed some transition looks early that could have helped us get going, We turned it over in the half court with some uncharacteristic plays. We didn’t pass the ball very well. We didn’t hit open shots early in the game, however we are very pleased with how the girls responded after being down 15. We kept on fighting and playing hard. We cut the lead all the way to 3 but just ran out of time. The other great thing is there is time to learn from this. This was not a do or die game, but just a game and a lot of things can be learned. “
