Seven BHSA girls traveled to Presho to compete in the 34 team “Bride of the Monster” tournament in Presho on January 11. Senior Peyton Hellmann was named Outstanding Wrestler by the coaches. Placer-winners for BHSA were Peyton Hellman-145 first,JasmineRuelas-Hertz-114second,andfifth-place went to Harper Kracht-120, Hadlee Kracht-126, and Ashley Tolsma-152.

Read moreWith all nine wrestlers placing, the Bon Homme/ Scotland/Avon girls won the Floyd Farrand Girls Invitational at Sioux Falls Lincoln on December 30. There were 24teamsparticipating. Peyton Hellmann-145andAshleyTolsma- 152 won their weight classes, Britney Rueb-126 and Hope Kemnitz-185 finished second, Hadlee Kracht-132 was third, Jasmine Ruelas-Hertz-114 was fourth, Sydney Johnson-100 and Bailey Kemnitz-138 were fifth, and Harper Kracht-120 placed seventh.
