AC/DC CROSS COUNTRY RESULTS

The Andes Central/Dakota Christian Cross Country Team ran in the Wagner Meet last Monday, September 13, which was held at the Randall Hills Golf Course in Pickstown. Placing in the top twelve and earning medals were Tony Hansum 12th place in the Boys Varsity (22:56) and Lexi Schoenfelder 3rd place (23:19) and Anna DeHaan 4th place (23:21) in the Girls Varsity Race. Eilie DeHaan easily won the Girls JV race with a time of 20:39 for the 4000 meter distance. Team scores for the girls’ teams were Gregory 12, Hanson 18 and AC/DC 19.

The Andes Central/Dakota Christian varsity volleyball team hosted Scotland on Tuesday, September 14 and took the win, defeating Scotland in 5 close matches.

PIRATES VS. RAIDERS

Avon hosted Wagner on Tuesday, September 14, where they put up a good fight, but fell short to the Raiders in four close sets. Wagner won the first two sets; 21-25 and 22-25. The Lady Pirates came back with a 7 point win in the third set with a score of 18-25. They came short by 2 points in the forth and final set; 25-23.

LADY PIRATES COMPETE AT CAVALIER CLASH

The Lady Pirates traveled to Tyndall on Saturday, September 18 where they faced five teams at the Cavalier Clash. Their first match went into 3 sets against the Beresford Watchdogs. The Watchdogs took the first set 25-17, but the Lady Pirates won the following two 20-25 and 20-25.
