FIRST ANNUAL DANTE AREA BBQ HELD

Dante held their first annual Dante area BBQ this past Sunday, July 18. It was a great turnout that brought lots of people young and old, new residents and long-time residents to come together and have a great time. We enjoyed lots of stories, laughter, games, and of course a ton of food and drinks. Everyone enjoyed playing games, including spoon egg race, potato sack race, hula hoop, kickball, tug-a-war, bean bags, spike ball, and of course water balloons. We also held some fun awards given to a few members of Dante: Alice Kafka (Oldest Resident), Millie Koupal and Memphis Hill (Youngest Residents), Steven and Kristin Feucht (Newest Residents), Royce and Nancy Bialas (Best Lawn), Don and Delores Kotab (Best Flowers), Butch and Rosie Koupal (Best Garden), Pat and Cindy Krcil (Best Deck), Bernie Hill (Best Town Patrol), Clayton Rados (Best Volunteer), Ernie and Therese Kocer (Best Tavern), Dan Kotab (New Business), Heidi Cimpl (Most Miles Ran), Jim Hill (Most Miles Driven), Joel Kotab (Best Snow Removal), and Gordo Kotab (Best Bartender). Our appreciation to Wagner Building Supply for donating sand for the park, Dick Rysavy for mowing/trimming the park and keeping it looking nice, Dante Volunteer Department for the dedication to the community and surrounding communities, and to Miko Kotab and Taylor Cimpl for your service and being deployed this last year, Welcome Home!!
