The remaining members of the class of 22 members were together for their 75th anniversary graduation from WHS on June 25. As far as we know, we are the only three left and try to get together when we can.
Read moreThe annual Uecker picnic was held on June 27 at the Wagner City Park. With this being the 100 Anniversary of the event, there was a nice crowd of descendents of Charles and Louise Uecker. They had seven children: William, Mabel Thaler, Pearl Jerke, Lonnie, Harry, Melvin and LaVerne. They were blessed with 33 grandchildren, 24 of them still living. Seventeen attended the picnic.

Read moreThe Library was very pleased to host Starr Chief Eagle, Hoop Dancer Extraordinaire, Lakota Teacher on Thursday, July 15th. Starr began the program with a handson activity with the children. She gave them tips on using the hoops and then had them invite other children from the audience to participate in movements as a group. Starr continued with information for all attending on the Lakota culture and concluded the presentation with three dancers (including Starr) performing for the audience. Read moreThe Summer Programming at the Library concludes on July 20, but the Summer Reading program will continue through Friday, August 13th when the Library will host a pizza party for all children who participated this summer and for those who have read books throughout the summer. Every child who read a book will have the chance to pick out a free book for each book read and every child will leave with a book of their own. Brag tags, poster stickers,pencils and fun filled activity books will also be given to all who participate.
