Read moreA crowd of more than 200 people were entertained by Mollie B and Squeezebox at the Wagner Armory on Monday, February 24th. The band entertained the crowd throughout the evening with great polka, waltz and country style music. The Choteau Creek Brewing Company provided great ethnic food at the concession stand. Kreations by Kim were also available, who offered up a wide variety of homemade cookies and candy.

Read moreThis year National FFA Week is celebrated on February 15th – February 22nd. It is a week where chapters share with their school peers what FFA is and the role that FFA plays in members’ everyday lives. The mission of FFA is to prepare future generations for the challenges of feeding the growing population of the United States through teaching various ag related topics including technology, science, business, food, etc. It is a week-long event that allows members to develop their potential for leadership, personal growth and career success in creative and innovative ways while involving their non-FFA peers. In honor of National FFA Week, the officers of the Wagner FFA are sharing what FFA means to them and the role it plays in their lives.
Read moreThe American Legion Auxiliary held their annual Americanism Essay and Poetry Contests this year. The Americanism Essay’s theme was “What America the Beautiful Means to Me” and the Americanism poetry contest was “Honor Our Heros”. Unfortunately, this year there were no poetry submissions, but we had an amazing year when it came to essay submissions with 48 entries. The Wagner American Legion is very proud of not only the students that wrote these amazing essays, but also the teachers and administrators that helped facilitate this contest. We are very proud and lucky to live in a community where patriotism is still valued by both our school and our community. There are five students’ whose essays have moved on from the local contest now to the District contest for judging. Our five first place winners were Portlyn Jones, Jaycee Martin, Lydia Yost, Hannah Holzbauer and Jackson Rolston. Congratulations to all and a special thank you to all the students that participated!
