PHYSICS TRIP TO WORLDS OF FUN

Mr. Paul Kuhlman’s 2022 Physics class traveled to Worlds of Fun in Kansas City, Missouri. The purpose of the trip was to test the physics of the roller coasters. The students will have to calculate how fast the roller coasters go, the “G” force of them, etc. When asked about what Mr. Kuhlman thought about the trip he said, “I really enjoyed the trip and would like to thank the students for their behavior and enthusiasm, it was much appreciated! Special thanks to April Powers for driving the Pirate bus and Dennis for being an alumni chaperone!” All of us really enjoyed the trip, and learned so much about the physics of roller coasters, and I personally thought besides having fun, this trip was also a very great educational experience for us students

ORAL INTERPRETATION INTERVIEW WITH ASHLEY TOLSMA

Ashley Tolsma is a Sophomore Oral Interp. participant at Avon High School. Ashely has competed in many competitions so far this year since the beginning of October. In the Harrisburg competition, she won superior plus and 2nd overall, then in Brandon Valley, she won 3rd overall. Most recently, she and her teammatescompetedatDSUin Madison and Ashley received 3rd overall.
