Isabella Kreber of Dante is the recipient of a $2,000.00 Scholarship awarded by the South Dakota School for the Deaf Foundation. Ellie plans to attend the University of South Dakota, majoring in psychology with aspirations of becoming a counselor. Isabella was active in theater and chorus all four years, taking on prominent acting roles and participating in local competitions. Isabella has worked part-time during high school in various areas, her latest being a cashier at James Drug while also volunteering at St. John Lutheran Church, where she is a member.

The President's List recognizes full-time (12+ credits), degree-seeking students who earn a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher. Academic Honors acknowledges degree-seeking students enrolled in 6-11 credits with a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Read moreOn Wednesday, June 1, the Wagner VFW Post 7319 14U and 16U teeners took to Hennies Field to open their season against Canova. The opening act belonged to the 14U team and they would get the season started right, claiming a 5-3 victory.
Read moreLast Tuesday through Friday Wagner’s boys’ and girls’ basketball teams hosted their annual basketball camp. There were 116 3rd -12th grade boys and girls that attended. A huge thank you goes out to the Yankton Sioux Tribe for paying the entry fee of all participants who signed up to attend. Another huge thank you to Mike Frei and the Commercial State Bank for sponsoring all the camp t-shirts. “This was by far the most kids we have had participate in our camp. It was a pleasure to have them to help focus on the fundamentals of basketball. Thank you to all the parents and guardians that allowed their children to participate. Again, thank you to the Yankton Sioux Tribe and Commercial State Bank for helping sponsor the kid’s entry fee and camp shirts. Go Raiders!”
