President Jamie Soukup called the Wagner Rotarians to order on Wednesday, February 18th. There was a smaller crowd for the usual Wednesday meeting but in the rain or shine the meeting will go on. Soukup led the members in our Rotary Grace and then called upon everyone to sing “Smile” in the absence of our song leader. There was only one guest present, Josh woods came with his wife Alison who is a Rotarian.

Events like this have the potential of causing thousands of dollars annually in damage to property. To lessen the impact of these disasters in the future, Charles Mix County is beginning the process of updating its current Hazard Mitigation Plan.

Janet Justina Lassen passed away Monday February 9, 2026, in San Andreas, Ca. at the age of 83. She was born on July 29, 1942 in Wagner to Walter and Jennie Wollman.
Read moreThe Annual Men’s Chorus Festival Concert will be presented this year on Sunday, March 1 at 7:00 p.m. at the Dakota Christian school gymnasium east of Platte on Highway 44. Singers from the Verdigre, NE, Delmont, and Tripp area, and the Dakota Jubilee Chorus from the Platte, New Holland, Corsica, Stickney, Harrison, and Geddes areas will join together to form a chorus of approximately 60 male singers.
