Read moreI would like to take a moment to highlight several importantprojectscurrently underway within our school and community. If you have not recently visited the softball fields, I encourage you to do so. Upon completion, nearly $250,000 will have been invested in upgrades, including new lighting, dugouts, covered seating, and fencing. This project is a collaborative effortbetweenthe City and the School District, each contributing $33,000 in initial funding. Additional funds were raised privately, with special recognition to Community Bank for their generous $75,000 donation. Equally noteworthy is the significant volunteer effort, particularly from Dwight Brandt and Nathan Schultz, whose time and dedication have been instrumental. These improvements will result in a facility the entire communitycantakepridein.
