A week of activities and dress up days was observed by Wagner Elementary School students February 28 – March 1 to celebrate Read Across America and Dr Seuss’s birthday. Students and staff took part in the celebration each day wearing green clothing, mismatched socks, mismatched/inside out clothing, pajamas and Dr Seuss hats. Two winners were chosen each day with Mary Virginia Ashes being one of the winners on Thursday “Sleep Book” day on pajama day. Eva Freidel was also among the winners. Photos by Jan Woods

Tim Simonsen was recently honored for his retirement as Wagner Police Chief of Police. He’s a little sad to leave the only job he’s known for over 32 years but is excited to start the next chapter in his career as Shop Manager at Agland Coop in Armour.
