On the evening of Tuesday, August 27th the Wagner Labor Day committee along with the 2024 Labor Day parade marshals Don and Joan Hubbard and their family gathered together for the annual tree dedication. Nestled in a beautiful spot with plenty of room to grow was a recently planted Oak tree, which had been planted by Von Eschen Lawn and Landscaping. The Hubbards being very family oriented were surrounded by their daughter Patti and her husband, three of their five grandchildren and all eight of their great grandchildren. This year’s Labor Day Committee Chairman, Cameron Goodrich, gave the dedication and thanked the Hubbards for all of their dedications and contributions to the Wagner community.

Read moreIt was a nice day to start the 2024 Cross Country season off. Wagner attended the Beresford Invitational on Friday, August. 30th. The Wagner kids showed up to race and they did not disappoint for Wagner. There were three medal winners from Wagner – Grady Bartunek placed 10th in his 4K race, Taya Stone placed 17th in her 4K race, and Cooper Slaba placed 12th in his 3K race.
