Sunday July 3rd Charles Mix County Lake Restoration Organization held their July 3 Ribfest. They had six competitors entered into the Ribfest. Many community members brought their families out to enjoy the delicious ribs and entertainment. Steve Stuluka and daughter Chloe took home the $500 first place prize. Bright and early Saturday morning paddlers racing in the Fort to Field 50 Paddle Battle filled the Randall Creek Rec Area. The Battle was from the Fort Randall Dam to Springfield with three checkpoints for racers to catch a quick break and a drink of iced water.
