A sweet baby boy, Ryder Richard Beeson, was born to Sarah and Josh Beeson on May 18th at Faith Regional in Norfolk, NE weighing 7 lbs 6 oz. The proud grandparents' are Cletus and Julie Wiechmann of Wagner and Terry and Belinda Beeson of Dante. Great-grandparents' are Richard and Dorothy Andersh of Wagner and Lois Raysby of Sioux Falls.

Read moreOne hundred twenty-five years! Where in the world can you find a church that has grown in faith, fellowship, friendship, and family for 125 years. Halfway between Wagner and Lake Andes on Highway 281. East Lake Andes Lutheran Church celebrated their 125th year of ministry on Sunday, June 12, 2022 with a worship service in the church and a catered meal following outside. Pastor Tom who has been the permanent pastor since August 2020, was joined in leading worship and praise by Gary Maas (former pastor 2005-2013), Bill VanGerpen (former pastor 2008- ) and Brad Veurink (former pastor from 2005-2020).
Read moreOn Monday, June 13, Wagner hosted Mt. Vernon-Plankinton for some 14 and 16U action at Hennies Field. The 14U team went down by a score of 11-0. As the score would indicate, there is not much good to report from this game. Javian Pesicka started pitching for Wagner and got little help defensively as MVP would tally four unearned runs in the first frame. He would go on to pitch three innings giving up a total of seven runs, three being earned, on eight hits and a walk while striking out four.
