Read moreSaturday, January 3rd, 2026 Today’s meet was a great motivator for the girls. Seeing after only three meets where the girls stand was an eye opener to say the least. Today showed how they fare in their region on their best and worst events. Dusti Laska, Aubry Williams, and Addison Cuka all competed new skills today. Kamryn Krueger and Amelia Rathgeber also changed their floor routines up a bit which seemed to improve each of their scores. We continue to work at improving little by little on each event. The girls need to hold the correct body shapes, maintain connections, and stay tight. Continued effort in these areas will cinch them much closer to earning their way to the state meet in February. Keep up the hard work girls.

Read moreThe Lady Raiders traveled to Winner on the last day of 2025 to make up what was supposed to be the season opener as mother nature had other plans in early December. Wagner would jump out to a 15-6. The Raiders would out score the Warriors 39-11 in the next two frames to stroll into the 4th with a 54-17 advantage and then win the game 63-24. On a record setting afternoon Ashlyn Koupal broke the single game scoring record with a monstrous performance with 42 points on 16-23 shooting from the field. She would also grab a game high 14 rebounds, dish out 4 assists, come away with 5 steals and block 7 shots. Hannah Holzbauer would reach double figures off the bench with 10 points. Braxton Nedved would add 5 points, grab 3 boards, dish out 4 assists, and grab 2 steals. Hayden Knudsen would finish with 4 points and Clarah Soukup 2 points to round out the scoring. Mateya Bruguier would grab 3 boards and dish out 2 assists. Wagner would finish 25-48 for 52% from the floor while holding the Warriors 8-46 for 17%. Wagner would get out rebounded 24-25 on the glass. Wagner would commit 9 turnovers compared to 14 from Winner. “We did an excellent job on the defensive end limiting them to one shot opportunities. Offensively, we executed at a high rate both in the half court and in transition. We need to continue to force the issue in transition running the floor and capitalizing when we have numbers.”
