There were two guests present, Alison Woods from Juffer, Inc. and Bryan Lubbers of Yankton, South Dakota. Bryan was a guest of Rotarian Ken Cotton. The membership recited the Rotary Grace prayer, and the assistant song leader Jeff Doom announced that we would try to sing “Grandfathers Clock.” This was met with a lot of skepticism as most members had never heard of this song. Doom did a respectable job of leading the group as we stumbled through a tune none of us were familiar with. It is without a doubt a good song but would require piano accompaniment if we are ever to do it justice. Good try Jeff!
