Crowned 2021 Wagner Labor Day Queen was Reese Powers of Avon, daughter of Dennis and April Powers. Reese reported that after having several businesses offer to sponsor her for queen, she selected Brenda and Joey Jaton of MidTowne Oil & Gas. "This experience was awesome and I am so happy I decided to be a part of this event", commented Powers. First runner-up was Michelle Soukup and second runner-up was Sheridan Smejkal. Kenneth Eugene Davis, 79, of Yankon, was born May 16, 1942 in Peoria, IL, youngest of five born to Thomas John Davis (Sr.) and Edna Florence Priddy. Ken was 2nd generation American. His grandfather Isaiah, migrated from England in 1870, and was a coal miner in the Illinois coal mines.
