16 Andes Central Juniors and Seniors attended Career Planning Days held in Mitchell. Their first session was at Dakota Wesleyan University where the focus was on students wanting to attend a college, university, or join a branch of the military upon graduation.

Lady Pirates Pick up win against Scotland.
Pirates drop to 1-4 for season. National 4-H week is October 4-10. Luke Backhoe, with the help of City employees, dig south of Avon replacing a fire hydrant and lay pipe fixing a broken pipe that occurred last year.
