PIERRE, S.D. – Elderly and disabled South Dakotans have until April 1, 2025, to apply for property tax relief under South Dakota’s Assessment Freeze for the Elderly and Disabled Program.

The Wagner City Election that will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 will consist of two candidates running for the position of Wagner’s Mayor. Incumbent Tammy Thornton and Alyssa Mathis are this year’s mayoral candidates.

From the Files of the Wagner Post 10 YEARS AGO 2015 The Wagner American Legion Greer Post #11 held their 26th annual sweepstakes drawing of $5,000 and the winners were Bruce and Marilyn Krentz.

The Sweet Clover 4-H club met on February 16, at 5 p.m. TheFerwerdafamilyhosted. President Carmindy called the meeting to order. Flag Pledges were led by Lucy and Josie Schloss. Roll call topic was 'What is your favorite color?' and eight members were present.

The Charles-Mix County 4-H Club Junior Leader’s Reporters for the 2024-2025 season are Marin Bultje and Callie Bergin. Marin is the daughter of Brice and Darci Bultje; Callie is the daughter of Jayme and Jr. Bergin.
