On Wednesday, March 4th the Wagner Rotary Club met at its usual time for its first meeting of the month. Attendance peaked at sixteen members with some absent due to vacation. South Dakota winters begin to feel quite long by the time March rolls around on the calendar.
PIERRE, S.D. – South Dakota State Senators Thursday approved Attorney General Marty Jackley’s bill that enhances the penalties for ingestion, possession, possession with intent to deliver, and delivery of a controlled substance in a state correctional facility.
January is National Blood Donor Month, and Avon community members are starting the new year by showing incredible generosity and heart. At the most recent Avon Community Blood Drive, 17 units of blood were collected from 15 donors - enough to help up to 51 patients in local hospitals.

155th Engineering Co. Wagner hosted their 155th Guard Gala Mrs. Kuhlman's first grade class dressed as they were 100 years old for their 100th day of school. Senior Spotlights were Brianna Voigt and Johnathon Kopp.
