10 Years Ago The senior members of the Andes Central National Honor Society collected and donated toys to the South Dakota Department of Social Services. Kourtney Carol was born to Ryan and Erica Svatos and joined older sisters, Abigail and Mikayla.

Greer Unit #11 American Legion Auxiliary held their monthly meeting on December 19 at the Post home with 10 members present. The meeting was called to order by President Alyssa Mathis. Chaplain Margie Stone read the opening prayer.

In lieu of doing a gift exchange at the December 19th meeting of the Wagner American Legion Auxiliary, the ladies brought non-perishable food items to be donated to the Wagner ROCS food pantry. This has become an annual tradition for the Auxiliary.

From the files of the Wagner Post 10 Years Ago Kourtney Carol was born to proud parents, Ryan and Erica Svatos and big sisters, Abigail and Mikayla. Timothy Enjady graduated from the Marty Alternative School with honors.

The Charles Mix County 4-H Club Junior Leader President for the 2024-2025 season is Emery Bultje. Emery is the daughter of Bryce and Darci Bultje and resides in Lake Andes. Emery has been a part of the Charles Mix County 4-H Club for nine years, beginning when she was eight years old.

The library is pleased to announce that we have added a new section to the library. Large-print books have been added to a special section in the adult portion of the library. The large print books were purchased with funds from the Lutheran Social Services grant.

10 Years Ago – 2014 Andes Central Elementary presented their Christmas program. The South- Cent ra l A.B.A.T.E chapter donated proceeds from their poker run to the Wagner Cancer Funds.

President Jordan Weber welcomed the Wagner Rotarians to the last Rotary meeting for the year 2024 on Wednesday, the 11th of December. Weber gave a prayer for all Rotarians to be mindful of the work they do in the community and strive to find opportunities to serve others.
