Due to Covid-19 health concerns, private funeral services for Delores Peters, 89, of Wagner were held Monday at St. John Lutheran Church in Wagner with burial in the ZCBJ Cemetery, rural Wagner. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for Stephen Cournoyer Jr, 69, of Marty were Saturday, October 24 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Marty. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements. Stephen Norbert Cournoyer Jr. was born in Wagner on September 20, 1951, the son of Stephen Sr.

Wake services for Raymond Doyle Dion, “Wambdi Odowon” (Singing Eagle) 16, of Lake Andes began Tuesday at the White Swan Community Center in Lake Andes. Graveside services were at the Native American Church Cemetery, rural Wagner on Friday, October 16.

Funeral services for Louise Lucille Sejnoha, 109, of Lake Andes were held October 19 at Peters Funeral Home in Wagner with Father Gallagher officiating. Burial followed at Lake View Cemetery in Lake Andes.

Fernando Garcia, 41, of Lake Andes died Monday, October 12, 2020 at the Avera Community Memorial Hospital in Wagner. Wake services began Tuesday at the White Swan Community Center in Lake Andes. Graveside services were at the Native American Church Cemetery, rural Wagner Friday, October 16.

Galen Lee Drapeau Sr., 71, of Lake Andes died Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at his home in Lake Andes. Funeral services with military honors were at the Marty Indian School gymnasium in Marty Tuesday, October 13. Burial was in the Greenwood Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Greenwood.

Private funeral service with military honors for Thomas (Tucker) Frank Hrdlicka, 72, of Armour will be held on Tuesday, October 13 at Wagner Lake. Visitation with family is October 12 at Peters Funeral Home in Wagner with prayer service following.

Services for Gary Lee Honomichl were held September 22 at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Yankton. Gary was born March 28, 1943 in Wagner to John and Clara (Schultz) Honomichl. He attended school in Wagner.

Carol Ann Schlim was born on June 1, 1948 to Larry and Dorothy (Tietge) Beemer in Lake Andes. She attended school in Lake Andes, graduating from high school in 1966.

Funeral Mass for Sally Boyd, 72 of Mission Hill was held Monday, October 5, 2020 at St. Vincent’s Catholic Church in Springfield. Burial was in the Bon Homme Cemetery, rural Springfield. Visitation was at the church Sunday with a Rosary followed by sharing time.
