The funeral service for Elwood ‘Woody’ Schuldt, 80, of Faulkton, will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, December 22 at First Baptist Church, 1500 E. Melgaard Rd, Aberdeen, with Pastor Gary Compton officiating. Burial at Danzig Baptist Cemetery, rural Avon with Military honors.

Janine Marie Horner, 75, of Delmont passed away December 12, 2023 at the Menno-Olivet Care Center in Menno. Celebration of Life will be Friday, December 22 at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Wagner. Burial will be in the ZCBJ Cemetery in Wagner. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m.

Joseph 'Joe' Sisneros earned his wings December 9, 2023. He was surrounded by love at his daughter's home in Belle Fouche. Joe was born in Denver, Colorado and had four siblings. He had a passion for cooking and collecting Barbies. Joe was 'The Cook' at Abby's for over 17 years.

Visitation and wake services for Mary Bates will be held at the Marty Community Center in Marty Tuesday and Wednesday, December 12 and 13, beginning at 7:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest in Greenwood with her mother and grandmother on the Yankton Sioux Reservation.

Frances Rose Jandreau, 39, of Vermillion died Friday, November 24, 2023 at the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls. Funeral services were held Saturday, December 2 at the YST South Housing Gym in Wagner. Burial was in the Greenwood Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Greenwood.

Eleanor Emelia Johannsen (Buchholz) was born March 9, 1942, in Hendricks, MN to the parents of Julius and Elsie Buchholz. Eleanor lived on the family farm through high school, at which time she attended Mankato State University. She majored in Physical Education with a minor in English.

Randall “Red” Johnson, 75, of Sioux Falls, passed away Sunday, November 26, 2023. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, November 30, 2023, at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory, Sioux Falls. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m.

Natalie “Ibobdu Win” E. Medicine Bear, 74, of Lake Andes died Friday, November 17, 2023 at the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls. Funeral services were Tuesday, November 21 at the White Swan Community Center in Lake Andes. Burial was in the Cedar Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Wagner.

JoLene Bywater, 81, of Schuyler, Nebraska passed away November 22, 2023, at CHI Immanuel Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska. Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 28, at Svoboda Funeral Home, Schuyler, Nebraska.
