Funeral services for Satrese Patterson, 32, of Wagner were held Friday, January 20 at the YST South Housing Community Gym in Wagner. Burial was in Holy Name Episcopal Cemetery, rural Wagner. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

Joseph C. Babcock was born in Rapid City on November 28, 1949, the son of Bruce and Helen (Burke) Babcock. He died Friday, January 6, 2023 at his home in rural Wagner. Joe graduated from Hill City High School in 1968. He served for two and a half years in the US Army.

Donna Crichton, 81, of Sioux Falls passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023, surrounded by her loving family at her home in Sioux Falls. Funeral services were Friday, January 20 at Zion Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls.

Bruce L. Dejong left us January 7th, 2023 due to an accident snowmobiling at age 58. Bruce was born February 18th, 1964 in Springfield. He left his hometown and moved to Colorado. Bruce loved cabinetry/building. He was an excellent woodworker and could build anything; he had an eye for detail.

Memorial services for Shanda James, 31, of Sioux Falls were held Friday, January 20 at the White Swan Community Center in Lake Andes. Burial was in the Greenwood Presbyterian Cemetery. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was charge of arrangements.

Joyce Broz, age 90, was called home to the Lord on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Sister James Care Center in Yankton. She had recently resided at Sister James Care Center in Yankton. Joyce was born July 28, 1932 to Ben and Anna (Kuhlman) Ailts in Wagner.

John “Jack” Wayne Schaefer, 78, of Mitchell, died Sunday, January 8, 2023, at his home in Mitchell surrounded by his loving family. Funeral services are pending under the direction of Bittner Funeral Chapel.
