Evelyn Christine Soukup passedawayonDecember11, 2022 at the Good Samaritan Home of Tyndall. Eve was 104 and two-thirds years old. A Memorial Mass was held December 17 at St. Leo Catholic Church in Tyndall. Interment will take place at a later date, in the St. Leo Catholic Cemetery.

Marjorie died Thursday, December 15, 2022 at the Good Samaritan Society in Scotland. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Thursday, December 29, 2022 at the United Methodist Church in Wagner. Burial is in the Lakeview Cemetery, Lake Andes. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner is in charge of arrangements.

Douglas Dale Laib, 65, went to his heavenly home Monday, December 12 at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls. There will be a private, family committal service will take place in the spring. Douglas Dale Laib was born February 13, 1957 to Roland and Rosemary (Faller) Laib in Parkston, SD.

Funeral Mass for Erin Schroeder will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, December 21, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Wagner. Visitation will be at the church on Tuesday. Interment will be in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, rural Wagner. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner is in charge of arrangements.

Barbara Ellen Wepking, 96, of Avon, and formerly of Huron and Sioux Falls, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at the Good Samaritan Society in Tyndall. A Celebration of Life Service was held Saturday, December 10 at the FirstPresbyterianChurchin AvonwithPastorLorneyVan Gerpen officiating.

Danica (Dana) Ann Uherka- Abels, 42, of Brandon, daughter of Norman and Deb (Miller) Uherka was born on March 11, 1980 at the Tyndall hospital. She passed away late afternoon on November 29, 2022 of respiratory failure at her home in Brandon.

Funeral services for Robert Pudwill,86,ofSpringfield were held Saturday, November 26 at the First Baptist Church in Avon with Pastor Bill Van Gerpen officiating. Burial was in the First Baptist Cemetery, rural Avon. PetersFuneralHomeinAvon was in charge of arrangements.

Autumn Dion, 59, of Wagner, died Sunday, November 13, 2022 in Sioux Falls. Services were held Thursday, November 17 at the White Swan Community Center in Lake Andes. Burial was in the Native American Church Cemetery, rural Wagner. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.
